2.1 Account & contact information

• Name or nickname, email address, phone number (if provided), device IDs.

2.2 Location information

• Precise location (GPS, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, cell towers) when you grant permission in your device settings. This may include foreground and, if enabled, background location updates to support continuous sharing and notifications.
• We collect location to show your position to members of your invited circle, to enable features like arrival/leave alerts, and to improve safety and reliability.

2.3 Usage & diagnostics

• App events, interactions, device and performance data for analytics and crash reporting.
• Purchase & subscription status to deliver paid features.
• Advertising/attribution identifiers (e.g., IDFA) only if you consent via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT).

3) How we use information

• Provide core features: show live location to your circle, send alerts, and support communications between circle members.
• Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Services (including fraud prevention and abuse detection).
• Measure performance and improve the app and user experience.
• Process purchases and manage subscriptions.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

4) Legal bases (EEA/UK/Switzerland)

• Consent for precise location access and for tracking (IDFA) under ATT.
• Contract to provide the Services you request.
• Legitimate interests (e.g., to ensure security, prevent misuse, analyze and improve).
• Legal obligation when required by law or valid requests.

5) Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

• Your circle (people you explicitly invite), to show the location you choose to share.
• Service providers who help us run the Services: analytics, crash reporting, attribution, and subscription management. Today we use: Firebase Crashlytics, AppsFlyer, Amplitude, and RevenueCat.
• Law enforcement or regulators when required by applicable law.
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

6) Tracking & App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

With your consent, we may access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) to measure installs and campaign performance via our attribution partner (e.g., AppsFlyer). You can change or withdraw consent anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and you can reset your advertising identifier in iOS settings.

7) Your choices & controls

• Location permissions: You can enable, disable, or limit precise/background location in iOS Settings at any time. Disabling may limit certain features.
• Sharing settings: You can leave a circle or stop sharing your location with specific people in the app.
• Marketing/attribution: Control tracking via ATT and device settings.
• Notifications: Manage push notifications in system settings.

8) Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Location history (if stored) is kept only as necessary for your circle features and is deleted or anonymized when no longer required or when you delete your account, subject to legal retention requirements.

9) International data transfers

If data is processed outside your country, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) to protect your information according to applicable law.

10) Security

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect data (encryption in transit, access controls, regular monitoring). No system is 100% secure; please use strong device security and keep your app up to date.

11) Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country) without verified parental consent. If you believe we have collected personal data from a child without proper consent, contact us at hello@findrogps.com and we will take appropriate steps.

12) Your rights

13) Third‑party links & SDKs

Our app integrates third‑party SDKs (Firebase Crashlytics, AppsFlyer, Amplitude, RevenueCat). These providers process data on our behalf according to their policies. We recommend reviewing their privacy information. Features or links to third‑party sites are governed by those parties’ terms and policies.

14) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in‑app or on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the revised Policy.
